Fitz back to one
Related to my earlier post, apparently Rove was not indicted. I'd chalk it up to not knowing Jason Leopold's history, but, true as it may be, that's lazy.
The truth is, I wanted it to be true. Not wholly from any sense of schadenfreude, but more from a hope that someone somewhere could prove what I've felt in my gut: that this administration leaks, lies about those leaks, leading many good people into dangerous situations. But all the hope in the world doesn't make a story true. Truth makes a story true. And, to those who care about such things, I apologise for any part I had in this fiasco.

Good afternoon, Texas Shiva.
You had no part in the fiasco. You, like many, hope against all odds only for an age better than what we have now.
At the end of the day, the Republicans are responsible; so are the incompetent neo-conservatives among them; so are their vicious legion, who are nothing more than departures from civil humanity.
So are the people who feigned reasoned analysis when their votes for Republicans were made only for sheer and willful spite. So are those who pose to piety in worshipping a venomous devil of wrath instead of a humble, martyred rabbi of peace.
Those are the people who are, at the end of the day, responsible.
Not we, Texas Shiva. Not at all.
The Dark Wraith is just passing through.
