Carey in Couture

Just a quick post for those of you who may not have got your hands on the October issue of US Vogue and have therefore not seen the adorable editorial shot by Lindbergh and styled by Grace Coddington, featuring Carey Mulligan. I snapped it up as soon as I spotted it on the stands- because I am a big Carey fan- and it did not disappoint. Here are my favourite shots but I’d seriously suggest investing in a hard copy if you love her (and couture!) as much as I do.

I try to avoid celebrity fandom when I can, and don’t feature many on the blog at all, but she is a genuinely talented actress- and it doesn’t hurt that she always chooses amazing dresses for events. 


I haven’t yet started compiling fashion week posts- I know I’m awful- but there are so many bloggers out there who do it much better than me, that I’m wondering if there is any point. I may just do a highlights post when everything’s shown, a purely selfish “this is what I LOVED, you can tell me what you think if you like” post. I’ve just got too much going on at the moment to post about absolutely everything- although I’m really enjoying trawling through style.com whenever I get a spare second!
